| DDO's first patch since the release of Update 3 kicks off the game's four year anniversary celebrations with a new event called the "Traveler's Scavenger Hunt." While DDO technically won't be four years old until February 28th, there's no reason we can't get the party started a bit early! As part of the event, characters created before February 18th will receive tokens which can be redeemed for scavenger runs. Alternatively, players can also purchase these tokens in the DDO Store. Once a token is redeemed players will begin a scavenger hunt to collect as many magic eggs as they can. At the end of the run players will be rewarded with an aura, whose strength is determined by how many eggs they found. The aura can then be redeemed for a level appropriate reward. A variety of buffs such as haste, expeditious retreat, etc can be used to improve players' speeds, as well. A 20% Quest XP boost, which will be active from February 28th through March 8th, has also been announced. The boost will stack with other sources of XP boosting, so be sure to take advantage of that! Earlier this month Turbine announced the Risia Ice Games, which players have been enjoying until now, you can view screenshots from the games in our DDO gallery.
